Have not posted for a while but had to share my milestone with you all. I can't believe I have made it to 50 days. I am feeling great and ready to face the next 50 head on.
For all the new quitters, please, please do not give up as it does get easier and easier and there is definitely a big shining light at the end of this tunnel. I had some real moments of doubt early on in my quit and was very close to lighting up but I am so glad I didn't as I feel so much better now. I still get the odd thought about smoking but it really is just a passing thought and not that gut wrenching crave. I also smell rather nice lol!
Finally, a massive thank you to all on here. I really think that this forum made the difference for me and the support I had was fantastic. In particular Gaynor, Margereth, Nic, Stuart, Doey - I could go on and on and apologies for any names I may have missed, you are all fab and have been instrumental in helping me quit that horrible addiction.
Good luck everyone and excuse the essay!
Josephine xx
