Can't really help you with the menopausal stuff, not exactly my field of expertise.
I'm sure you will get some helpful advice about the Champix from others with experience of it. But you are absolutely bang on with your last point - don't ever want to go through these first weeks again. Stay strong, and you won't have to.
The night sweats could be the champix or just because you've quit but whichever it won't last for long
The Dr/nurse says the course is 12 weeks I stopped taking it after 8 as I kept forgetting to take them and I never wanted to smoke again hope that helps
lets hope the night sweats dont last long its no fun in this weather lol .
i feel like i could stop taking champix now and never smoke again i am just a bit scared of taking that chance , maybe ill give it a nother few weeks yet
i must say champix is great never thought it would be this easy after many failed attemps i have tried everything there is on the market but always caved in after a few days xxx
