It has been quite tough today, the past 2 days I have kept very busy painting and decorating. I had a huge urge to go and buy some today and I am pleased I didn't but it is constantly on my mind. Well done everyone else for being smokefree!

i think the most important thing to do when your stressed is take the energy and put it into something else.i clean windows, wash the car, hoover, paint, have a bath, anything that occupies your mind!

well done for getting through day three, i am on 3 aswell!

god i hate smoking!

It will niggle and nudge and niggle and nudge, then by tomorrow it will calm a bit. Good for you not giving into the crave. It really is worth it. Stay positive and if you haven't done already, check out some of the links. Tales from the quit are very inspiring! That and this forum and the brilliant people on here are the best quitting aid ever!

Thanks missyp

Yeh suppose I must ... but don't seem to notice the time side of it lol ... but have noticed that I feel better, my skin is skin coloured not grey, I'm getting chubby lol, and I have an awful lot of spare money in a week now.

This site is great, I spend quite a bit of time on it but I don't mind, I want to help others feel the way I do ... I feel so good......

Somebody said on this forum today that they look in the mirror now and see a good looking healthy guy..... (that wasn't me) but thats exactly how I feel.

You keep being strong, you will get through this !!!

A good 4th day!

Had a really good day so far, not missing it all that much - went to an Aqua aerobics class instead and took the dog for a walk.

Hi Greg

One of the first things i noticed when i started to smoke again was how awful my skin looked, especially under the eyes, where i was gathering a nice collection of black bags !!!

I have felt awful about smoking for a long time and lost a lot of confidence as i felt it made me look awful as well as feel awful . I had been a non smoker for long periods of time includinig a ten year smoke free period , a four year, a couple of one years and the odd month or two here and there. So I know how different not smoking makes you feel and look. THIS IS ONE OF MY MAIN DRIVING FORCES !!! Its obviously one of yours, and BIG UP to you after smoking so many for so long... your a STAR !!!

KEEP STRONG LIKE THE EBT
