How long will i be obsessed with counting these days and hours lol ...
If you're anything like me then it'll be a while! 19th day and I can tell you to the minute how long it's been. One of the first things I did was get a quit calculator - and to start with it was my favorite occupation to sit and watch it click over - every hour, every un-smoked cig, every penny saved.
I do think the milestones are important. Celebrate every step of the way, no matter how small, cos each one is another step away from the nic-demons.

Hi Deke
I think i will probably be just like you, i am so pleased to be on day 2 and be feeling like i can do this. Previous attempts by this stage i have been climbing the walls and of course have always caved in. Have had a few moments where i have wanted to cry cos something stupid like people taking too long in the queue at Asda or going too slow in the car etc etc, as got to me. But i know its the lack of nicotine and most of the time i am pleased with myself.
And well done you 19 days..... you must be feeling really pleased with your self
