Have had to get some pot pourri to mask the smell of the smelly smokey coat!

still feeling positive although had a stressful morning and feeling abit grumpy.:mad: Not feeling the need for cigs though at all.

Hi Moog, sorry to hear ya feeling a bit down - hopefully your day will get better. Day 12, who could believe it eh? I know I cant believe I am here, another 2 days and it will be the longest I'v ever gone without a smoke.

Glad that ya not tempted - you have done sooooo well, especially since you have ditched the patches - I'm not quite ready to do that yet, but I'm gonna follow the advice about cutting the patches in half etc to wean myself off them like that.

Keep smiling Moog - the sun is out and spring is in the air.

ok I take that statement back from before, not feeling the need for cigs. i now just feel like crying, im in a terrible bad mood and i feel miserable. the thing thats ringing round in my head is, so ive done 12 days, so what!?! I got to seven months about 5 years ago and one day just went out and bought some and started again, cant even remember why. its like im waiting for something to happen but i dont know what that is. i see all the positives of stopping and would hate to go back to smoking but the thought of a big long drag of a ciggie sat outside in the sun is in my head.

im in a bad mood and i know that previously i would have had a ciggie, my own bit of private time with my best friend nicotine. i know ive got to just get through this and carry on and thats why im posting on here but its flipping hard just now.

I bet its the last of the nrt coming out I had the exact same feeling when i done a quit on patches. By tomorrow or even this evening you will feel much better. When you go home treat yourself to a nice long bubble bath and early night. You will come through the tunnel really soon Im sure. xxxxxxxxxxxx
