I am into my 25TH day, not having a real hard time except at night I get a craving to just go out and buy a pack of smokes, last only a short time than I am alright.
I am on the last 3 weeks of Champix, what will happen when I finnish Champix and I still have these cravings.
Other then that I feel great, sleep better, breath better, smell better.
Thanks to these forums for all the great messages of hope.

1st off congrats on the 25 days quit, I didn't use champix, but you are passed the physical stage of nicotine withdrawal, so its got to be psychological! I'm guessing that evenings were when you would "enjoy" a smoke.
The fact that its a trigger point means that for whatever reason you have a strong association that needs breaking. The only way to break it is practice so the more times you don't act on the desire the easier it will become to ignore it and eventually it won't happen at all. We all spent a long time smoking and need to practice being a non smoker, as they say practice makes perfect.
Welcome gslmech! Great job on 25 days. Great achievement!! You need to join our February club...... we don't quite have on yet but it is in the making
Like Nic said.... the physical cravings slowly fade after 2-3 weeks.... after that the mind games start and nicodemon CAN be persistant so watch out and be prepared! Good luck to you and we'll see you around
