Made it to one month!

Well, I made it to one month. So far, it hasn't been hard at all. Cravings are down to once a week (at least the ones that stick in mind). I'm finally getting the cold like symptoms, but they are on and off. Coughing up yuck a little. I just keep thinking it's all worth it not to be a smoker anymore. This forum has helped sooooo much. Thanks everyone!

Woo hoo - well done! I hit my month mark today. Can't believe it - it's gone so fast! Finally all the illnesses, infections and colds have cleared up and I feel really energised - all these years I put my permanent tiredness down to stress etc. Suspect now that it was the fags dragging me down (probably suspected that all along but was just in the usual smoker's denial).

Well done Jody :)

Emma I too had a tricky point at about 6-8 weeks, but they do pass just keep the resolve not to smoke. Quitting is full of little hurdles, but in order to continue the journey you have to keep moving forwards.

Cheers

Nic
