I am going to keep coming back to day 1 until I never have to again.
Some of the quitters on here make it look so easy that it's easy to forget that for some people this is a really difficult thing. Also that nearly all of us have tried and failed many times in the past.
Well done for owning up, coming back and trying again.
I really can't believe that I am doing so well given my previous track record so I completely understand. I'm currently going through a nagging phase where at the back of my mind there's the feeling of well done Nic you've done well now lets get back to normality, I'm not going to falter but its there!
Anyway Bill what's the course of action? What is going to make it different next time?
sorry to here that,,but you will bounce back..think of that last fag ,as your last one,,iv had a few bad moments,,and you were there for me... so i hope i can be there for you,,chin up,chest out,and start all over again..so nic keep the faith all the best tony
Quitting isnt an easy thing nor is it an overnight thing, none of us on here have quit we are all just in the process of quitting - wether we are quit for 1 year or 5 months or 9 days - its all the same , it only takes one puff and effectively the quit is diminished. So please come join us
You should regroup and gather your thoughts on what made you go back to smoking and be prepared in your mind first of all on how to deal with those triggers when they come round again.
You seem determined to quit and you are going about it the right way , have you tried doing the online program at ffsonline.org? its an excellent program to gather preparation for your quit Also the website whyquit.com is full of articles and info on the nicotine addiction which hooked us to smoking. We are addicts.....And as such, we can never take one..not one smoke. One smoke leads back to full blown smoking. . It's an all or nothing proposition , so make the jump when you are ready and prepared and let us know how you get on.
