I'm 19 hours without a cigarette here and it's driving me mad already!
I've been prescribed Zyban and I'm on day 7 of taking it, so I'm on to 2 a day now. It feels like it's starting to kick in and it's terrifying me! I know these can be dangerous, but I felt desperate enough to try them.
At the moment, I'm feeling spaced out, sick, out of sorts, anxious and very down.
Please help to keep me sane?
xx
ETA: I'm 33 and I've smoked for over 19 years, on average 10-15 cigs a day (stopping briefly while pregnant). I've got a 3 year old daughter and a dad who's just been diagnosed with COPD. My daughter is my reason for quiting.

Yup, I asked whether my authority used anything else, but Zyban is all they prescribe at the minute.
I'm hopeful, although I've realised I wasn't meant to give up until today to let the pills start working fully. Never mind!! I'm sure my lungs won't miss a couple of fags!!
