I stopped on monday morning, and thats nearly a week iv stopped and I feel amazing - i feel much healthier!!!!
It has been very hard, I was in an awful mood yesterday because of no fags.
the reason i stopped was because I heard my son say 'I don't like daddy when he smokes'. Obviously he is 2 and can't speak as well as that, but I certainly picked up what he meant!!
Then I stopped at 10.20am on Monday 21st July 2008!
Welcome back Skinnychap and good luck with your quit. Just keep thinking of your daughters every time you crave or have any thoughts about that nasty nic.

its over a yr for me now, and the best thing is to come on here and have a rant, share your joy, share you frustrations, or anything else that helps. This time last year on was on this site 24/7 and it really helped me.Reading advice and knowing others were in the same position really helped me. Also just to write down how i was feeling was a great help to me.
like others have said, do it for yourself, but do think of others around you that it affects.
good for you my little un had to complain for a while before i took it in im on day 5 its gets a little easier everyday althou first 72 hours r tough hang in there u can do it
