how are you finding things when you read. does it help at all?
What are you reading? there is some great stuff out there, but sometimes you need to read a lot to get to the article that seams to be "the right one" to help you at that moment. There are some really inspirational ideas etc on the woofmang site (see my signature for a link).
I am sure you will manage this as you are doing very well so far.
Thank you John, i was reading the woofmang site, and whyquit, from your post last nite. But then fell asleep, so started to read it again this morning.
Thanks for the links as i would not know were to look for things like that.
Congrats mini mum sounds to me like you're doing great Resisting those urges during the first days can be hard but you are setting yourself free from a very nasty addiction so be happy and proud about each and every achievement you make!
Just got in had a very busy night on the ward, no time to think about anything least of all smoking. Today i have not even been bothered with any cravings. So now i know its all just in my mind. I will just have to have mad busy days and nights to stop me thinking about fags. hehe.
Got a lovely break from work for two days then its back to the grindstone on earlies. I hate earlies.
Hi there, I'm on day 16, so it's nice to meet someone else around the same time.
I'm not craving, but feeling nervy and a bit lost, but weirdly, I don't actually want a cigarette. I did start stopping over a month ago,but just managed a few days and then I was on a couple a day( instead of 20) Then tried again 2 weeks ago.
Try to remember you are stronger than the craving- I've been using winter nips ( sweets) and rescue remedy ( from Boots) You should be feeling really proud of yourself- keep it up-I can't get over that I spent around 30K on fags- just think what you can do with that money!
