I have been feeling exactly the same for about a month now, it really was a fight, I was stupid and picked up both the inhalator and the lozenges 10 days or so ago, obviously this is not advised, Luckily I had a few champix left and took one a day for about a week, thank god the feelings have passed now, but heck was it a fight, just look on it as being Nico trying - just trying I add, to put up one last fight, stick it out and the prize is yours.

Also try and think back to how revolting that last ciggy tasted whilst on the champix, AND, remember how hard it was in the early days, do you really want to go there again???

NO - I thought not.

good luck and take care, not saying what I have said is correct, just telling you my experiences in the hope that it can and will help you.

regards

Sue

Keep at it bud................You should take some time to review where others were at different points. I think we generally follow the same patterns.

For me the only difference is attitude and focus. Any of us can talk ourselves into wanting a cigarette and I for one am resigned to having to having those feelings periodically.

Just remember why you gave up and the positives from now not smoking.

Put out of your mind you are a fat porker who can barely squeeze into his over sized leathers.......................:D

Hi I think everyone has these feelings from time to time, I know myself after about the 3 month mark I was so down that I kept bursting into tears which isn't like me at all and I blamed in all on the fact that I wanted a fag so much and was fed up of thinking about them constantly so I said to myself, go on have one if you really want one, don't give a monkeys about anyone else if I seriously want to go back to being a smoker then go for it...... BUT ofcourse I didn't as I remembered why I had given up in the 1st place and I so didn't want to be back there again plus I kept thinking about all those horrid videos that i had seen especially the one with the palmolive bottle with all that smoke swirling about in my lungs and that was it for me!!!!

I think as well you go through a patch when you are bored of smoking which sounds ironic but ...... you do.

Keep at it, you are doing brilliantly !

Hi Mark

hopefully you have got over your feelings by now but if not,

Instead of sweeping up all my whyquit leaflets why not bloody get on there and read some!!!! :D:D

Seriously tho i hope you are feeling better.

Do you know what has been great about this thread...?

The way all these people have come out and given you support in all of their own individual ways.

Its GREAT to see the forum back to (mainly) normality.:)

Well done everyone and hopefully Mark's crisis has passed.
