Ouch. Just been told that I'm off to Afghanistan for a few months. Nearly had a fag but didn't!!! Will keep you updated but if I can stay stopped out there, then hopefully other quitters back here can too Not leaving for a couple of weeks but wish me luck. :eek:

Hi Liam - well done on not giving in to the urge of smoking when you got the news. You will have quit for a month by the time you fly out and trust me - urges do get easier to manage the further you go in your quit (although some urges can be felt as quite vicious because they become less frequent) but I am sure you will do great. Keep posting before you go!
