Sometimes, in my eyes, this word gets used to loosley, i.e I am 6 months into my quit.

In my eyes it means Stopped, Ceased, No more.

Plenty of positive thinking and education (In the depths of this place are some very informative posts) will see you through as well as all the help on here of course.

yes - well done to all of you. We all had a day one. It is scary but the first step is the hardest - the rest is possible and as those further ahead than us can testify, quitting is well worth it.

My advice: empower your quit by learning about the mechanics of the addiction - there is a lot of material in the forum archive.
