Hello team!

I'm starting Day 3. Had an awful nights sleep so dont feel too bright.

I had planned to go shopping today to take my mind off cigs, but my son was ill this morning and is off school, so that plan is scuppered. Will probably be hanging out here a lot to get through today.

Hope everyone else is still onboard?

Im here mates. Ive got granddaughter off school with tummy bug, wow sods law eh?. Feel ok up to now. Havent been stressed out yet though! ha ha ! stick together friends we will prevail yes ? xxx

I'm on Day Three now too, although with No Smoking Day today I had to do tv interviews etc as though I quit today! [today is my birthday and I work for a cancer charity so thought I would choose today to raise the profile of the day and the charity!]

How y'all doing? This seems like the best place to get a bit of support!!

I am really struggling tonight, is this normal, because I keep thinking it will pass soon but its not, for the first time in 3 days I really could smoke a cig gggrrrr!!!

I'm going Cold Turkey, I've tried patches in the past and they didn't work for me. I'm not going to give in, yes i'm finding it mega hard tonight but if I can get through today then tomorrow has to be easier ( I hope )

I Went to make a coffee earlier, which is when I usually had one, and instinctively, no habitually, went to my bag for a fag!!! The champix have totally stopped the cravings, quite a bizarre feeling, but now it's just my habits i got to sort. Bu I will get there - no - WE will get there

Tomorrow is my last day, I am going to try cold turkey, until I can get to see my doctor or the nhs support group. Glad to hear you are all doing well, I think it is gonna be the habit of smoking especially on a work day as it breaks up the day, I may just go and stand outside instead.

I definately know what you mean!! Im on patchs and I am not having any cravings but while running from one meeting to another I thought "oh god, will I have time for a smoke?" and then caught myself on. Its really strange indeed!

Well I made it through Day 3 woohoo!!! What a tough day, day 4 tomorrow, bring it on!!!

I think all the mental battles that I had to deal with yesterday have exhausted me. My son's still off school so I'll have to put my 'calm and caring' face on again!

How you all doing today then, Im ok but was much better thismorning. been a bit clumsy all day. broken crockery. fell over the vacuum, and while mopping unscrewd the handle while wringing it out, not once but twice, Gasp! :eek:duno whats going on in my head today. Grrr :confused:

still here !! been away for a couple of days..(the joys of being a long-distance lorry driver!)

i,m almost on 3 weeks :D, and the cravings have disappeared , but i know what you mean about the habit.

(still look for mine after a meal) .
