Incredible urgings and cravings for that cigarette. Trying to sleep more, so an early night, which ended with me awake at 4am needing that ciggie! Mornings are worst, and I've so wanted that "hit" to get me started! Especially today. Inhalator worked last night!

Every thing starts with the first step. the first few days are the worse once the nicoteen is out of the body things start to improve. I know what you mean about the morning i was a two cups of coffee and 4 fags before i got started. But they are just a small thought now you have done bigger things than this before stay strong. Mornings are the worst times for me also but I have to say even on my third day it has got a bit easier. Not so reliant on a cigarette to kick me into touch for the day. If you can just get through the first week I'm sure it'll be alot easier (I'm on day Three) and I'm hoping that proves true for me too!

Oh No!
My dad is in Sheltered Housing. He drinks a lot. Yesterday he withdrew his pension and it's all gone. I asked him where it was and he punched me repeatedly on the face. I was sore and swollen, and my tummy was in knots.
Sorry, guys, but the first thing I did was buy a 20 packet. Tomorrow is another day, and I'll post tomorrow on Day 1.... again. So much for the iron wil!!!!

Hey Kenny, never mind. Tomorrow is always another day. Just try not to lose too much of your frame of mind that prompted you to want to quit...I know upon many of my failed quits I kinda lost all will to give up and just carried on smoking. However, you did really, really well to not smoke any yesterday and we all know how hard that must have been for you so it'd be a shame to throw it away. You have shown that you CAN do it.

It really is hard to tell. I always like to give the benefit of the doubt in case I unintentionally upset someone in genuine need of support.

I even researched by watching a video on what not to say in the UK cause it sometimes means diff things rofl... oh, by the way, my wife thinks i'm off my rocker cause i'm always singing now... but says she thinks it'll go away! Wind-up as defined by me = conclusion or end of something?

In the UK, a wind-up is a prank, hoax or practical joke. I think it's meaning might come from the childrens' toys with the keys that you wind up...and then let them go. Not the same in the US, the wind-up is something to do with baseball isn't it? Here's the wind-up..the pitch....etc
