This is my day 7.

It has been a breeze so far, but now i am in a lot of pain, my chest is aching a lot, i am permanantly hungry and feel very dizzy and can't get words out properly, i just wanted to know if this was normal, i have searched and cant find anything.

I read allen Carrs easyway. so not taking anything

just restless sleeps, bad chest, overeating and a fuzzy head to deal with

I'm no doctor but I'd say there'll all pretty normal for this stage. Certainly the wanting to eat anything that isn't nailed down (I still have that after months, but I'm just a big biffa) and the restlessness.

... feel very dizzy and can't get words out properly ....

That may not be so normal, might not be too much to worry about though. Not that I'm medically qualified in any way it's just that I can get dizzy and slur my seech from time to time.

Here's to your quit Chris

I know a lot of people have suffered with dizzyness - the brain just goes mad with all that extra oxygen.

Must admitt I had a fluffy mind, dithery and that! I have speech problems when I am over tired or anxious.

My chest hurt a lot :(

There's nothing to lose from a visit to your GP Chris x x

Cheers guys,

I'll probably just stick it out for a while to see if its just my body kicking back into gear.

Anywho my bit of advice is when you have strong cravings, your tempted to say, 'I WANT A CIGARETTE!'.... Do you? you dont really. knowing that has helped me

Hi Chris,

Haven't laughed so much in a while (Know I shouldn't - but then again am feeling a bit crazy at the moment) I am on day 4 I think! have all of the symtoms you describe glad to hear I'm not alone - I know we will feel better soon as my other half is into his 4th week and isn't too bad just the odd day of madness.

I know these comments won't help you much but you have really cheered my up and taken my mind of the dreaded things.
