I'm still here but because of my weekend blip I don't know if I should be here or on day 2! What do you guys think? The people who only stopped 2 days ago were still smoking when I had given up for over two weeks though. Do you know what I mean? So I don't know where I fit!
Go where you feel comfortable. There's a big bunch of people in the new year group so it might be better to stay with them - safety in numbers and all that!
When I had my last blip I carried on from the first day for another month or so, then I moved onto the later date to count from - so I was only counting days where I really hadn't smoked. But there's no way I could have gone straight back to day 1 yet again after three weeks. Did that make any sense?!
The only to describe my thoughts is that it feels like im on holiday. I like the new surroundings, tastes and experiences..but I miss home.
Sonicsheep, I think you should stay, you gave up on New Year and regardless of having a drag/packet or whatever, you still gave up with the rest of us.
yeah i reckon anyone who stopped new years but who has had a blip ought to stay together - its just such a helpful thing having a group together who started at the same time. It doesnt matter about the blips we all stopped at the same time.
So i reckon the list so far is:
PaulC
Elenita
Flippy
SupersonicSheep
Sutty
Kapper
anyone else?
Sutty i know what u mean about being on holiday - but to me it feels more like a new job or better still moving home - its permanent but its new.

Thanks guys, you're all so supportive! I think I want to stick with you lot!
I really don't think I could go back to day 1 after three weeks now. It would be like I went through the cravings, lack of sleep etc for nothing and I may as well have been smoking. Does that make sense?

We are all on week 4 because we have worked so hard to get here.
Buffy - it says on your signature that you had a lapse - what happened???
There is no excuse Sutty, I had a bad night with my Eldest boy we argued and he was a sod  he's a bottler not a talker *sigh* so preverbal hits the fan.
Bf was out and being a bit of a pig and everything was getting on top. I went and bought fags.
It was crap, they was nasty and nothing changed I just felt like on top of everything else I went and punished myself!! D'oh
My weekend got no better and was pretty sh*t but I learned that on friday night, continuing to smoke wouldn't help and stayed determined not to smoke again!!!!!
