Nearly missed this room altogether!

Well, I'm on day 13 of my escape already, and only found this forum today, so I nearly managed to miss the "2-weeks" room. I guess I'll be moving into the 3-weeks room tomorrow afternoon some time.

This is a strange sort of quit, my partner and I went to a hypnotherapist on Friday 4th January, and although I don't think I reached the light trance state I was supposed to get to, nonetheless we both seem to have given up for nearly 2 weeks anyway, and without too much difficulty, if I'm honest. Maybe the hypnotherapy worked without me realising it, maybe I'm just really ready to give up this time. (All the other times I just *thought* I was really ready ;))

Anyway, it's good to be here, and I'm looking forward to a smokefree life. Well, I won't smoke today at least.

Well done on your progress so far! keep it up and don't lose focus, it was good how you worked out how much you hadn't smoke and how much you saved and such, do that every day and you'll make it - im sure of it!

LOL, maths isn't my strong point, I just use the QuitMeter from here:

Once it's running, all i need to do is hit CTRL-F12 to get the meter readout pasted into whatever i'm in:
