Hello Phil and well done for making it to day 10:cool: I found I felt more hungry than thirsty all the time:D but drinking lots of water has helped me quite a bit to deal with the cravings in the first few days:)

Lol! Phil!!

it's far more likely to be the quit than diabeties!!

Dry mouth n throat is very common, I am too needing to take on board more fluids x x x

Probably your body calling out for the flush through to rid it of those toxins!! the whole chemical balance inside you is changing now.

Don't worry about it just yet ;)

Congratulations on reaching double figures!! fantastic!!

And welcome to the forum ;)

Like the others have said I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you're concerned you could always see your gp and get yourself checked. Congrats on quitting :)

Is there a physiological or biological explanation for this, does anyone know?

I have been quit for 1 Week, 6 Days, 5 hours and 48 minutes (13 days). I have saved £68.71 by not smoking 264 cigarettes. I have saved 22 hours of my life. My Quit Date: 04/01/2008 11:45

That's me just on the tenth day, and it happens to be the weekend.

I pretty much will need to not go out to the pub, club or drink at all and I should be good.

I can see me folding tomorow though.

Is that from stopping smoking??? I just thought it was because I had started eating more fruit and veg (i.e. consuming more fibre) since giving up. Wow!
