I'm Lynne, I quit at 5pm on Sunday so this is kinda day 3, i'm further than day two but too early for day three.
I now have phlem stuck at the back of my throat, it's horrible and i can't clear it.
I'm going cold Turkey and feeling a bit on edge. Given up twice before lasting about 8 months, started because the boyfriend quit quitting, he's now my ex 2 weeks ago and i thought i'd give this non smoking another bash.
Girl at work has quit with me too so i'll try and get her on here, she was tearing her house apart trying to find a ciggie last night, I find it easier to keep a packet in my bag, if i know they're there it's easier to say no than not have any, weird eh!!!
Anyway Hi, hope i can't rant away on here when i feel the need for a cigarette!!!

yeeeeeeehaw a Forum where i am welcomed to rant and rave, well right now i'm havng a craving raaaaaaa.
I keep going to get out my seat to go out for a cig cos it's what i'm used to and i'm so fidgety thinking of something to do, it's weird. don't really want a cig but the something to do part and i've had my lunch and don't want to eat again or i'll never stop.
I'm away to wander about the office and speak to folk ARGH 3 hours till i'm on the start of day 4!!!! There's an incentive.
Tell me something horrible and disgusting about smoking please.
Ahhh yeah worry not this is the ideal place for getting stuff of your chest, albeit a bit difficult in the physical sense
The horrible thing about smoking is quitting sucks!! If your not smoking quitting is far easier
Just go do something different and change your train of thought. If I think of a fag I sometimes just daydream, Put myself in an exciting scenario and let my mind wonder off.
