Victory Dance...

Hi Everyone,

Well look at that I just start Day 2 of my no smoking campaign.

I will quickly do a victory dance (while no one is looking).

Nearly 5 hours into Day 2 and I have to say that I haven't really even been bothered today so far.. Especially considering that I am doing work also..

So all in all very very happy with the way things are moving.

Oh and look at me a Senior Member...:cool: Does that mean that I am sensible and level headed? :rolleyes:

Maybe not, judging by the other Senior Members... You all know who I'm taking about... Well Boudee and Kazza how's your weekend been so far?

Well it's been a funny old day, got all the way to 5pm this afternoon with no problems, after having some food its been quite tricky (loads and loads of urges).

However they have been quite easy to overcome and ignore but on the other hand if some one offered me a ciggy then I don't know what I'd have done.

Best I stay a home and away from the shops for a bit.

Anyhow, nearly time for bed which will give me about 4 hours in the morning before starting day 3. That's assuming I get up @ 8 am... Not likely...

8am? Reveille at 6 0 clock 4 me afraid.Daughter has to be up,dressed.fed etc and on the school bus for 7.20!!! (she starts at 8.00 but finishes at 3.oopm!)

I know.I've been up for bloody ages and I'm knackered. Yeah shes up too but at least she goes to bed at 9pm. I was still ironing school uniform at 10.30pm!!

I only work part time so I get mon and tue at home - but that means I get to do all the crappy home stuff like washing,cleaning bathrooms and stuff etc. A womans work and all that!!

Bugger, I actually got up at 7 am this morning... Faaaaarrrrr to early...

Needless to say this is now the second morning of getting up during my no smoking campaign and I have noticed a couple of changes:

1. I don't spend 30 minutes laying in bed wanting the world to come to an end.

2. I don't spend 30 minutes hacking my lungs up over the sink, wanting the world to come to an end.

It is quite the opposite, I have awoken nice and happy, and believe me that's a bloody miracle for me... I hate the mornings...

Anyhow, I suppose I'd better do some work now that I am up and sitting in my office... Grumble complain...

Good news though, my daughter is due for delivery on the 7th of December, my brother is coming back from Cananda for a 7 day holiday on the 8th of December, so I am thinking he can be my wife's birthing partner...

Gets me out of the job...

Nothing worse than a moaning pregnant women...

Oh Oh, I am really in trouble this time...

** Just for the record **, I have alot of respect for anyone who looks after kids whether it be full or part time (A couple of hours with my Son and I am heading straight back for work)... It's probably the sinlge most mentally and physically draining experience I have ever encountered. A big pat on the back for all us parents out there...

Anyhow, only 2 hrs 55 mins left before the start of Day 3... Hopefully I will hold it together...

Okay then, let me get a couple of things off my chest...

There are a couple of key points in my life that I remember...

No 1. My wife said to me "Everyone else is having babies I want one".

Needless to say I stoked to old boiler and job done... However I then had to put up with 9 months of moaning (Oh I hate being pregnant!!).

No 2. My wife finds "A piece of land to build a property".

Needless to say we purchased the land and had to rent a property for 2 years. It was a damn cold property and everyday she moaned about hating where she was renting / living.

No 3. My wife said to me "Should we try one more time for our second baby".

Needless to say I accommodated... And another 9 months of moaning.

Support my arse, the only support she needs is a Size 8 up her arse to stop her moaning all the time
