I am hoping that in 3-4 weeks if things are settled I can think about starting again afresh - the reality is that at the moment I just can't get my brain round it. But am hoping that soon things will be settled for me to start again properly cos I dont want to try and stop in the midst of my hurricane.

My NS4M Loves you to pieces - you got me through those long long sleepless nights - still can't sleep properly I think it has become habit now. So bought some brand new bedding and curtains and gutted the bedroom to make myself a new boudouire!!! And very nice it is too....so hopefully that may help the sleep probs. I will come and find you NS4M when I am ready again so you stick at it girly friend and save loads of goss for me and yous to chat about into the nightime. I will have loads to tell you by then which will be very exciting - that is my rainbow out of this storm I am in.

Not because you have started again - that can happen, no probs as you will win anyway in the not too distant future - but because I guess something bad happened that made you feel so depressed you found yourself overwhelmed - that, I'm SO sorry about. Bloody hell! Life is bloody stressful I have had enough bloody stress in my life to take it all away from my kids!! I hope thats how I look at it to pull myself through the traumas of life.
Please come back soon don't let the bastards get you down and if they do punch them in the goulies and get right back up and laugh and smile!!
The stresses will never go but you can control the smoking if nothing else.

Poppy, why don't you allow yourself a very brief period to binge on fags if that's what you really have to do right now, and meanwhile summon your resources to have another go. It'll probably prove to you that it's not actually helping you at all.
I reckon you won't have to go through everything again as if you were starting right back at day one providing you stop again real soon.
But don't allow yourself to get settled back in to a smoking routine though because it could be a long time then before you get around to stopping again and then you really will be right back at ground zero.
Aww Poppyfairy, I too haven't had long enough to really get to know you, but your posts have been so positive and inspirational and I sooo thank you for that. PF, I'm quite sure you know your own mind - I'm sure because you have demonstrated huge strength through thick and thin and have had the enormous courage to tell us about your trials and tribulations too while at the same time offering warmth and support to many others. I don't think anyone without considerable self-knowledge could do all of that. The reason I say this is that my first instinct when reading your opening post was to say "Oy, getcha butt back on here and carry on from where you were", then I though , actually, 'No; PF knows best.'
So.. I'm desolate that you are taking time out from here, sad that you must have been through some kind of hell, frustrated that I can't wave a magic wand for you but.. looking forward to getting you on the back of my bike for a spin one day in the not too distand future!

The first time I loged in for quite a while and I found this thread, which has made me quite ad. You know what, no matter how hard life is, you can always find the strengh to move on, if you slip, you will get up much stronger than before. So you have staryed of the path, hey you havnt gone that far off, just hop right back on, its that simple, think about it.
I am hoping that you are ok and that you'll be back on the site soon, dont be down, it only just gets you down, (if that makes sense)
I shall tell you a little story, about 1 month ago I indeed did make the mistake of falling victim to Von buttened on a drunken night, but it was only 1 night, 1 slip, when I woke the next morning sure I was pissed off with myself for, simply for lettieng myself down but you know what, I just carried on as if it never happened and thus was right back on track, keep positive, keep strong, and most importantly of all keep on smiling
