Hello all! Well i didnt make it last time i posted here, but this board did help me so im going to post here and do it this time (if thats ok with everone?).
Im not rushing into my quit. Ive set a date as a week monday (15th oct).
Any tips to get started? Im going to use the patches as they did help last time. I think i failed as i came off the patches after a week and a bit. This time ill do the full course!
Nice board you all have here, it helped before to see so many people going through what i was. I hope you can help me again, then when ive quit ill be able to help others!

Welcome back. Glad to see you are going at it again. I am on my second attempt and will keep at it until I get it. Doesn't matter how many times I fail I will keep on. Stay on the patches the full course. Lots and lots of lemon water. Makes a big difference. Don't know why but it does. Good to see you around again. Get involved here.

Thanks for the welcome!
Ill have to try the lemon water, is that just water with a sqeeze of lemon?
Im thinking about a hypnosis CD. The worst it can be is a waste of £10 and a CD that tells me daily how bad smoking is! You never know, it may even help.
I will admit that i am scared about the withdrawel. This time more about failing.
I will stick arround. My goal is to get to the 4-7 day board as before, then move up to the next board. Its nice to have that target.
don't worry about the last time, stay focused & positive you'll get there, and theres always everyone on here to help you thru the bad times, it helped me alot, even though i am on the champix and it's been quite easy for me this time!( tried the patches before but they didn't really help me, still had the cravings:rolleyes: and a bottle of wine in my hand! well you can quess the rest!)
i have read "allan carrs easyway to stop smoking" book! and that has helped as well!
tried a hypnosis cd but i fell asleep before the end of it!!
anyway stay focused and look forward to you 1st day of been a non-smoker
