...the way i feel right now, i really could!

dont know why but i just feel so angry and upset! :mad:

and all i can think about is how theres something missin from my hand and lips!

so desperate fer one right now...

puffin on my inhaler like its bloomin oxygen!!

then again had no nicotine at all fer the last two days, i dont wear patches coz i hate them, and didnt need the inhaler until now.

ppffftttt.....

think im gonna hide here in my room fer a while.

Hi Devon Dumplin,

So sorry to hear you are feeling that way... Like you say, it's probably the fact that you haven't had any nicotine for two days. Hopefully by now the inhaler will have kicked in and eased the cravings??:confused:

I'm on day 2 of the Champix so my quit day is next Monday... Will be posting how it's going and no doubt will be feeling the same way as you are. Cats and partner beware!!!

lol well this is my second serious quit,went 3 months last time, used patches n inhaler last time.

this time just usin inhaler really, patches annoy the hell outta me! lol.

u know i still dont know what champix is?!?!?!?

Agree re the patches - didn't work for me as it was still putting nicotine into me! Also the nasty marks on my a***e weren't very fetching and the final straw came when one of them came loose in a public jacuzzi and floated to the top

Champix is a bit like Zyban. Firstly, it reduces the craving for nicotine by binding to nicotine receptors in the brain and reduces the symptoms of withdrawal. Secondly, it reduces the satisfaction you get when smoking a cigarette. There are some side effects but as I've only taken two so far, not too sure what I might get (if any!) :rolleyes:

o dear,yer i was sick of the bald patches it was causin on my arms,so i wore them on my shoulders,then they got itchy n made me even more angry lol so that was the end of that,have wore 2 or 3 this quit,not thro personal choice,boudee found it to b benefical to me,or i would have lost the plot fer the first couple of days lol.

hi, just wanted to let you no i was on my second week of champix the blue tablets and i was angry all the time i was shouting at every one even my 8 year old and my 9 month old children i went on holiday last week and my brother took my tablets of me said he wasnt going with me acting the way i was i was soooo horrid and i hadnt even got to my quit day i was smoking so i cant understand why i was so nasty. i will be going back on them in the morning im splitting the blue pill in 2 half in morning half at night hope its ok to carry on as normal with them with me missing a week.

Yes, it's ok to keep going. I was off mine for a month and just picked them back up two weeks ago using the 1mg. (It has been 2 weeks today, right Boudee?) Dump...try using cinnamon sticks for the hand to mouth thing. I still use them at times when I am driving, looks rather silly driving down the road with it hanging out of my mouth but it sure helps me. I have also picked up the habit of chewing on crushed ice. At least it has no calories!
