Good Morning everybody

i hope everyone had a nice weekend.

Day 17 Sunday

Felt good today no thoughts of smoking at all.went for 3.5 mile run felt great afterwards had a long soak in the bath. finished off washing all my smoke smelly clothes then had the pleasure of ironing all of it, ironing is so boring.

Went into Trowbridge to do some shopping, i go to Costa for a cup of tea (laying of the coffee for a while) and a read of the sunday papers had a wander around the shops.

Day 18 Monday

Had a lay in till 5:45 gave the gym a miss as i had a bad night sleep wise woke up several times, weird dreams and sweating. Still now at work !!!!!!!!!!

soooooooooooo booooooooooring, even though i am bored and have not a lot of work to do but still not thinking of smoking. :D

Am I right in thinking that you consider 5.45 in the morning a lay in?

Blimey, what time do you get to bed in the evening?

Well done so far and keep up the good work!!:D

Barney

Yes 5:45 is a lay in during the week as i normaly get up at 05:00 when i go to the gym, but then i have finished work and home by 16:00. i normally go to bed @ 22:00 but since quiting or the champix tablets i have been extremely tired and been going to bed @ 21:00.

I will put up with it because i have gone 18 days on the champix.

Congrats on making it to day 16 how are coping with the patches, whenever i used them i just carried on smoking. :D

Hi Andy,

I always seem to get on fine with the patches, so I've never felt a need to try anything else.

My relapses have always occured after my course of patches has finished.

So my real test will be when the patches are finished and i'm out drinking!

Interesting this - each of the last few nights I have been waking up a few times each night with my throat and chest drenched in sweat and ordinarily I hardly sweat at all. I don't recall ever having experienced this in past quits.
