Anyone struggling with low Blood pressure (orthostatic hypotension) and using droxidopa? How to manage? Thx!
Doctors switched from midodrine to droxidopa (
northera
) 3 weeks ago to see if can regulate. But his dose of stalevo every 4 hours brings BP down! Droxidopa brings it up but never stable! Now on 200 mg in am and 100mg 2 more times if needed. Any suggestions as to management? Still experimenting.

PROBLEMS WITH FREEZING
I've tried
Northera
and Ceylon cinnamon but with no improvement. I've also increased my dosage of sinemet to four times what I was taking a year ago, now taking twelve pills a day, but with no noticeable change.

Has anybody tried Droxidopa (Northera) for Orthostatic hypotension (postural hypotension)?
I have read that there is ONE medication on the market to treat orthostatic hypotension caused by PD called
Northera
(Droxidopa).

In this study, we will determine whether treatment with L- Dihydroxyphenylserine (L-DOPS,
Northera
) in addition to dopaminergic drugs will improve postural stability and activity of daily living, and reduce fall risk and/or severity of falls in PD patients.Falls, early in PD (within 5 years of diagnosis
