It was easy to understand in hindsight but I was in shock and couldn't take it in at the time.

My Heamatologist confirmed what I suspected and took immediate action.

I was first told that I had CLL and then after the second visit and blood work I was told that I had NHL. No other information.

I was mainly told about my treatment options. I had to do most of the research on-line.

I seem to recall being given general information about types of cancer, but nothing specific or detailed about the type of NHL I had.

I was not given written information. However< I have an oncologist who gave me a very thorough discussion about my particular type of NHL, and how he would treat it. He answered any and all questions I had. Never made me feel like he was in a hurry.
