Hello. I'm thinking about going for an audition in Leeds. The job will be in Disneyland Paris. Is this a possibility in my condition?
I'm currently at 12% still! Diyalisis is on the cards as no doner.

Hello! Take care of your health but keep dreaming and accomplishing. I was 7PERCENt when diagnosed but kept making my life and dreaming. Maybe this is not the time but dont stop dreaming !
Anything is possible if you want it enough. My kidneys failed when I was 16 but I have always worked on Dialyses and with a transplant. You will tire easily and all you do after work is sleep.
also my body is not making any adrenaline maybe that is another factor. When I had my first transplant in 1983 I was only 20. Now I am 52 and I get tired too
Hi Nic, in all honesty you'd have to mention this at the interview & I don't think they'd consider you for the role as they will have your best interest at heart.
I was put on dialysis in august and started my new job in London on 7th Sept, moved over from Ireland. going back for my transplant in a few weeks. told me new manager all about my condition and the fact I was on dialysis and they couldn't do enough for me...
the hospital has accommodated me with the move, I asked to be fully trained up in APD before I left so I'd be fit to work, I was still working full time 5 days a week at 8% before dialysis and only took 3 days off after getting PD catheter fitted and 2 days off to be trained how to use my APD machine.
if you're young and otherwise fit, go for it
if you can start dialysis before you go...APD would be perfect for you working abroad as the company delivers all necessary equipment and fluids to wherever you'll be living as they have done for me.
a good employer will support you, good luck
