Had a transplant a week ago. Still have drain which is producing quite a bit. When is this expected to stop? Also have uncontrollable itching of feet and hands. Is this normal? I'm on Prograf and Mycophenolate.

Hi Vicky, congratulations on receiving your transplant. You really need to urgently discuss your uncontrollable itching on your feet with the doctors/consultant on your renal team, likewise how long you will need to have the drain. I had my transplant just over 5 yrs ago and do get the occasional itch on my feet and do my best not to scratch it too much.
Not sure about the itching, but you've only been a week, so not unusual regarding the drain. It all takes time to settle down. If you are concerned you need to talk to your consultant. Good luck and welcome to the club!!
