I have had an attack before but it disappeared. Does anyone else suffer from this, it is not particularly itchy just painful and this time it has not gone. I have ckd stage 3b. Any advice as to whether this has anything to do with the ckd welcome

I have tried to google an answer to this, but can't find anything :(

Hopefully someone on here may have suffered the same as you and can help xx

Having looked at a few other posts on here it could be your phosphate levels? some people itch, but someone on here said they felt like they had pins being stuck in their skin. Are you on a low phosphate diet or take binders?

No I am not on a phosphate diet and all I take is Ramipril for high blood pressure. Have started to take paracetamol which is helping, am just hoping it will go! Many thanks for your response to my query.

No worries, but query your phosphate levels when you next go to the hospital x
