Hello all :) I had a kidney transplant in 2013 and have put on a bit of weight since, does anyone know of any good diets I can go on? I have tried seeing the dietician but it's like getting blood out of a stone as she's very busy! Thanks a lot Terry :)

Focus on general happiness, wellbeing and health. :) It's all the common sense stuff, I reckon. Gentle exercise (to start), more wholesome, unprocessed food and smaller portions. Herbal teas and water rather than the other liquid temptations. Cut down on alcohol. If all else fails, make-up a huge pot of nutritious soup and snack on it. When I have been ill, I have put on up to up to 25% of my body mass, so perhaps understand the frustration.
