very difficult unless you say what you are having problems with do you have too high phosphate, potassium or not enough protein? you don't normally have to follow a strict diet until you are nearly dialysis stage or on dialysis apart from keep yourself hydrated & cut out salt! egfr can vary even from day to day so i shouldn't worry about dropping 3 you could have another blood test next week & it would be different they look for a trend if it continues dropping they would be more concerned & tell you so!

Hi, my doctor suggested kidney APPetite. At first it kept crashing every time I pulled it up but now it is great. I plug in everything I eat and drink as I have to watch potassium and phosphorous but it tracks everything and if your food isn't on the list you can add it!! I would definitely download if I were you. Good luck, prayers for you. God can do anything😀

MyFitnessPal is a great app for tracking your diet. It gives you a full macros breakdown and you can search for foods or just scan the barcode if it's in a package. I swear by it. X

Dear One, As you yourself mentioned, you should limit protein as well as controlling your blood pressure, observing fat, sugar, salt, dehydration etc. Keep a diet of fresh vegetables and fruits. Avoid stress and laziness or indolence. Do some physical activities and walk briskly and think about joyful things. Deo volente, you will be all right. I hope so.
