has anybody taken Inspra (eplerenone)25mg

This medicine has been prescribed by our nephrologist for my husband. After taking it for few months, his S.Creatinine has gone up to 171 from 152, his potassiume level has gone up to 4.7 but his microalbuminuria has come down.

His eGFR has also gone down to 36 now from 41.

We are confused. Do not know if this medicine has caused a drop in eGFR level.

Does anybody in this forum have any information on this medicine? If yes, please

share.
