My husband has CKD - kidney function of 15%. He takes Candesartin (amongst many other drugs) but this has caused severe facial swellings and they are trying to find a replacement which suits him. Has any one else suffered with facial swellings?

Hi Annie my Kidneys are at 12% I have not had facial swelling but my ankles use to swell a lot. Since being on meds they dont swell as often, but still do. i am sure they will find the right meds for him, they have changed my meds a couple of times. Best wishes and good luck.
Only when on Steroids (Prednisolone EC) and Anti rejection meds (Azathioprine and Cyclosporine).
