Medical ID Bracelet

After transplant or while on dialysis does anyone have a medical ID bracelet? Like the kinds that alert if you have a severe allergy or the like and are not able to communicate? If so, where did you get it?

I bought and wear one - Went to GOOGLE where there are many advertised. Mine is a soft, rubberized black band, with medical info/emergency contact - notes that I have had a kidney transplant and on immune suppressants. The red medical sign is rather small but can be readily read.

I have one too. I got mine at Amazon. Mine is silver- like. I may get a silicone later which is from Amazon as well.

I had one from when I was on dialysis alerting of my fistula on the right hand. I bought mine at Lauren’s Hope they have beautiful bracelets that don’t necessarily look like a medical alert bracelet. I need to replace my old one.

I just ordered one from here. I was able to use my HSA! Can't wait to get it!

Yes. I found mine online but it's one of those that is metal and tends to pull on hairs. I'd Google it or look for one on Amazon.

I'd also like to add that I'm in EMS so these bracelets are super helpful and I highly recommend them to anyone & everyone who has any kind of chronic illness or allergy.

I got a sterling silver medical ID bracelet from James Avery. It has the Staff of Asclepius as the medical symbol. On the back side, I had engraved “Kidney Transplant” and included my nephrologist’s phone number for emergency. That’s what my neph suggested, especially if limited on characters for engraving.

I wear it when I travel.

I bought a couple on Amazon. You can find them in many designs. Not your old fashioned medical bracelet anymore. You can also customize the alert part. Mine said transplant and on immunosuppressants.

I use a Road ID one on my Fitbit

I have a Road ID I used when I did trail runs so if I was injured the people would know I have thyroid disease. The CKD came much later. I'll keep all of these in mind for when/if I get a transplant/dialysis. Thank you all.

I bought mine online at the MedicAlert Foundation. The top line says Kidney Transplant, the next line says Immnosuppressed. the 3rd line are my other issues.
