I am a living donor since May 2018. Recently I’ve had very localized pain at the incision site. Doc said it was the sutures still dissolving and thus some nerves still healing. Any living donors out there having similar experiences?

Thank you so much for your gift to a needy person.
I had similar issues for a few years post-donation. There was a numbness in my lower abdomen and the accumulation of some scar tissue around the incision site. Eventually I went to a body worker who helped focus on breaking up the scar tissue which released the adhesion to the underlying muscle. Now 14 years post-donation and I am mostly normal and seem to have decent nerve sensation.
It is wonderful you donated, be patient with the recovery.
