WOW this is so cool! It is great to normalize living donation and demonstrate just how healthy you can be post-op. And in this case, get even more healthy! Very inspiring!
I am also a living donor and I hiked 48 miles in 4 days this summer. Me and my husband went backpacking and took a loop around the 3 Sisters in Oregon. I'm 13 years post-op. It was very difficult... I should have trained more, but that isn't my kidney's fault
