I just watched the March 2nd episode of the TV show The Good Doctor. There was a potential kidney transplant talked about and a potential live donor. He was only 16, but what the "doctors" told him about being a donor was SO over the top, I don't think ANYONE would want to be a live donor! It was totally blown out of proportion of everything I've read about being a live donor and I think the National Kidney Foundation should contact the writers of that show and tell them they are setting the kidney donation program back decades! I have done a lot of research on being a live donor for my brother and I was appalled.
