I have been on Dialysis about two years, I pass my time reading on the iPad or Audible books. I still prefer a real book, but as my fistula is in my left arm above the wrist., I find reading hard back books or any book for that matter quite hard. Anyone found an easy method?

Reading a book
When I had a cath in chest I would do a lot of reading, knitting and needlepoint. Now, having upper arm grafts I'm lucky to check my email. Just the nature of dialysis and an access that's tricky. Wish I had better answers. Blessings
You can get a small portable, hands free stand, to prop your books on..like a small music stand. I presume you have little tables at the side of your dialysis chair. Then you just need to turn the page, with your other hand? When i started, I was going to download loads of audio books. However for some reason, I got really impatient and irritated, trying to listen to them. If the voice did not appeal to me, I just stopped listening. My patience wasn't the best when I first started 🤣🤣🤣. Might give them another go!
