Most states with public transportation usually have a sub-branch called Paratransit. Which picks up riders with disabilities from home to wherever you need to go. It's not free of course. You usually have to call and request an application. The Social Worker at your mom's clinic should be able to assist you with this. I hope this information helps.

Talk to social worker at her dialysis center.

Lyft or uber? Maybe.. but have to pay. Or ask your medical insurance if they provide transportation under the plan.

This is true. Lyft is what I use, for free. I go through Fresenius.

Here in southern California we have a transportation service called Access. It low in cost and you have to reserve in advanced. Ask your clinics social worker about eligibility requirements.

I'm assuming she is on disability, so ask her caseworker. They can find some away. But try this. Lyft, 8443621234. It's free
