Do check with the doctors on that but in the meantime, cut down on salt, elevate ur leg, compression bandages or socks and lose some weight

Is there any relation between my kidney and feet swelling?

probably, but your kidney seems fine for now. But the point is to do prevention. Eat things the kidneys like..no meats, dairy, processed foods. Eat whole grains and fruits and veggies. How old are you? Dont smoke or drink. Don't take over the counter meds. Most are very damaging to the kidneys.

Not always, can be heart related also

You should talk to your doctor about that. You are retaining fluids and there are many causes for that. Cut down on your sodium to see if you are consuming too much.

But other than fliud retention how you feel about my kidney?

Your labs were great! Your function is normal! Stop worrying. Talk with your doctor. Your edema could be related to an issue with your heart or blood pressure or eating too much salt in your diet.

Your kidney size is normal, your kidneys are functioning at above 100% according to your eGFR. The number is the % of function left. Most here are way below 50% or even below 30% of remaining function.

Your Dr. may have been ruling out kidney problems due to edema. Do you have Diabetes or Hypertension?

Obviously I don't know your medical background and can't diagnose you, but having normal kidney size and function are excellent indicators.

The cortical thinning which was mild, and the only irregularity, can be from high blood pressure or an infection or other reason.

From your Creatine level and eGFR levels you don't need to worry about CKD for many years to come IMHO.

Elevate your legs and cut down on salt/sodium intake. See a dietician about your diet if you do have HTN or T2D.

Your kidneys are normal size which is great too!!! I will happily trade my CT scan and labs with you!!! Merry Christmas!!!

Taking furosemide/Lasix will help your edema, also compression socks really help a lot.

Good luck. Speak with your Dr. on Monday to get a professional opinion. I'm only a paramedic and kidney patient but that's what I think with the information you provided.

I'm glad for you, I can tell you are worried, but please don't be. Don't let normal tests spoil your holiday.

Let us know what your physician says next week.

Why did you get tested? Why can't you get answers from your own doctor?

If this us the kind of medical care you are getting, better change medical team. One that will satisfy all your queries. One that you will trust.

We are not doctors nor experts. What we give you are our own experiences from our own cases. What we learned, read, researchd. Many are unique to us. Take these collective information, then digest and use them to ask your medical team.

Snippets of information and pseudo-diagnosis are not the right approach. Get it from the experts.

Hope this helps.
