My father was diagnosed with CKD 2 years back. His blood metrics have starting showing signs of deterioration with haemoglobin at 8.9 and high platelets. The report also says "giant platelets seen" - is anyone aware of what the giant platelet mean and is it a cause of worry? Please advise
