I'm here for the free info 😄 currently at stage 3 , going for kidney biopsy in 2 weeks , on blood pressure tablets .

GFR42%

Creatinine 154

Urea 11.7

Urine acr 70.2

I feel my life is on hold until the biopsy results ..

Plenty of info on this site so I'm glad I found it and joined ♥️

Diagnosis hopefully after biopsy as they aren't 100% I am in ramapril , so I'll just have to get on with it like the rest of you , night sweats , frequent toilet visits , sore head, muscle aches etc .

Only recently started feeling nauseous after I pass urine more so the early morning toilet visit .. anyway hopefully my ramblings make sense and my grammar is questionable lol

If you wouldn’t mind sharing, can you tell us what your recent renal panel data has been?

Creatinine

BUN

Potassium

Phosphorous

Hemoglobin

Etc

At present all I know is the latest blood results

Creatinine 154.

Urea 11.7.

Gfr 42.

Urine acr 60

Pre op this Thursday then biopsy the Tuesday

Hi All

What a day , biopsy done so hopefully they have what is needed for diagnosis.

I've got a good bit of muscle on me so

It made it a challenge but five goes of the needle and it's now time to wait on results.

Weirdest feeling ever .

They're not nice are they! Done and dusted now though, try not to fret too much about the results, your nephrologist will get you sorted! Your blood results are very similar to mine and same egfr too, let us know how you're getting on 😊

we all have good days and bad days I'm just having a poor me kind of everyday at present , I need to snap out if it , the nephrologist had mentioned glomerulonephritis to me before the biopsy .

But yeah chin up and get on with it eah 😁

Just been told that the 5 attempts at a biopsy didn't retrieve enough for a diagnosis ..my kidneys are to deep !

So a CT scan has been mentioned , yes I'm frustrated but ho hum eah .

Too deep??? I haven’t heard that before. When is the CT scheduled?

No date as yet the nephrologist is going to speak with the CT peeps , yeah too deep ! That's what they said .

I just had CT scans for transplant eligibility testing. A really easy procedure; it just took some time. You’ve got this!!

Hi yes the CT peeps are going to do another kidney biopsy , apparently they can go in at a different angle with a different needle !
