A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step!

Hello all

I am starting a journey to lose weight as I have had some serious heart issues recently that require me to have a triple bypass in around six weeks.

I started an exercise program two months ago that has made me a lot fitter but I seem to have stalled on the weight loss after an initial good loss.

I am hoping to use the site as a bit of motivation to keep on track as the fitter and lighter I am before the operation the quicker I will recover and be able to get on with my life.

Hope your all having a good week.

Hi Revi,

Actually, I always think that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a commitment to make the first step.

Subtle difference, I know, but it's the commitment to yourself, your ongoing health and wellbeing - and whatever personal goals you have - that will help to keep stepping forward along your journey.

Good luck with your weigh loss efforts.

Just step up onto the weight loss bus!

Good luck hope all goes well for you
