Good work yelenots,

If you're following the NHS Choices 12-week plan, losing between 1lb to 2lb is within the healthy weight loss range.

Hi yelenots,

That's kind of the way it works for me too.

Don't take daily weight readings TOO to heart, just regard them as an indication. The important thing is that your losing it week on week. (or at least not gaining it anymore!)

(My problem is that I lack patience and want to know what's happening, so I won't wait a week to find out!)

I haven't got any patience either.......a week is an awful long time!!

Your best time to weigh yourself is first thing in the morning. Then, you've been fasting for about 8 hours and have emptied your bladder and/or bowels, so you'll be at your least weight. Try to weigh yourself at the same time under the same conditions each day.

Hi all did any of you measure parts of your body before you started the weight loss plan? The reason i ask this is because if you dont see any weight loss on the scales you could have lost in inches,i know some weeks i havent lost it on the scales but have lost it in inches
