Does anyone else struggle with motivation to exercise?

Hello and welcome, Wishingslim :)

In answer to your question, I would say a lot of us do. Fortunately, weight loss is much more down to what we eat, so turn exercise into activity that you enjoy whether it be walking, gardening, hoola hooping, dancing .... anything you'll do regularly and increase gradually.

You'll find everything you need to use the forum in our Pinned Posts I recommend joining a weekly weigh in on the day of your choice, and using the Daily Diary, where members share their meal plans. You'll find them both friendly and interactive.

Active participation is the key to success so I hope we'll see you out and about around the forum :)

its mainly what you eat not exercise

Yes. I only like to do forms of exercise that give a visible result. Cleaning windows, gardening. I have tried all sorts of exercise over the years. I don’t understand it but I haven’t been able to get into a routine. Housework and vigorous gardening is the only way for me. I hope you find a type of exercise that you enjoy and can stick with.

DEFINITELY, I have basically 0 stamina, so struggle a lot, and since any result take a lot of time to show it is so very hard to keep going!

You will find a lit of support on here which will hopefully nourish your stamina such that you could well bd surprised by what results!!

People adopt a mix of approaches on here which you will see as you explore this site. We strongly recommend new members make use of one of our Weekly Weigh In pages and the Daily Diary posts. (Which I see you havd joind already excellent 👍)You will find these via this link following which takes you to our Pinned Posts section. There you will find a Welcome message,general advice (eg: internet safety)and guide to our site plus links to a range of groups which we hope will interest you as well as the key Weigh In and Daily Diary pages..... can take a bit to learn how to find one's way around so please read the material carefully and also note, don't use the HU App, it is much easier to use the website.

As explained above, we recommend that members join a Weekly Weigh-In, on the day of your choice, and also use the Daily Diary, where members share their meal plans and get useful feedback. They are found under Pinned Posts (go back to the link I gave you above)

A special feature of our Forum is the degree of support between members which you will experience (and add to yourself !) as you join in and chat with others.

Not through lack of motivation more lack of fitness at the moment .

I have stopped running and started skipping.

Anything that helps you move more is excercise.
