Fit is fun walk 6 March

We ended up going to this place three times this week. πŸ˜‚ Once just the two of us for a ride out, when we saw add for a technical tour underground, so came back on Thursday with OH's cousin (I just walked around while the went it) and while there saw another add for science week so went back again, with our grandson, Rhys, for that. I would get a season ticket .... but it is free.

I topped 18,000 steps on the Thursday visit, and noticed a nature walk, it was closed because of the flooding, But have made a note to go when it all drys out.

Top left is Rhys with 'Peggy' who acts the part of a 40's miners wife and tells the small visitors all about her house.

That looks the sort of place I like. Especially the underground tour.

It’s amazing how many steps you can do when you’re enjoying yourself πŸ˜€

I hope the tourist board are paying you commission πŸ˜‚. Where is it? We live down south but we have a caravan and I’m always on the look out for potential places to visit. X

National Coal Mining Museum, Nr Wakefield. We go a few times a year. Little chap likes the play ground, but it was closed last week due to the weather damage. πŸ˜ͺ

Sounds like a great place and visits. Live the pics too. I love places like this, have you ever been to Beamish? Great day out
