My tip would be to think in terms of a lifestyle change, a permanent one that you can stick with and enjoy. You may find these posts helpful: the first one is titled, When Weight Loss is a Struggle, so should fit your situation

You will find loads of support and information around the forum. You'll find all our events, challenges and clubs in Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... and I recommend joining a weekly weigh in and using the Daily Diary as a starting point.
To make the most of the forum, read and reply to posts, ask questions, encourage others and it will all pay off for you
Welcome shadowhunter2020, I'm in my 2nd week so very new. My advice would be to jump in and get involved with at least the daily diary and a weigh in day. Both can be found on "pinned posts "
When you see how much support you get, including recipe ideas and what other people are doing you can start looking at other forums.
Of course you can jump in to everything but I would have been overwhelmed, it depends on what you need.
