I am so very sorry to hear this news. George was a lovely kind man and I really enjoyed his posts. I too am from the Edinburgh area and had some nice chats with him. I'll remember him with great fondness.

I am so sorry to hear this. I had a few chats with George56. He was a lovely man. And would answer and post that was sent to him. He was a good member of this forum. It is a huge shock to hear this.

I'm actually in tears reading this George and I go back a long time

He was such a lovely man

He talked often of you Jenny and your wee miss as he called her

You were very lucky to have him.

He talked about his Navy Days in Devon as my lad did a stint in forces too and we live in Devon.

We did a happiness challenge to see good in life and whatever was going on to helping others too and try to help us with our emotional eating problems.

He always seemed a very happy loving guy

Will miss catching up and him having a bit of banter

I don't know if you have a plan in mind to help with weight loss but if you've heard that it comes down to 'eat less, move more' this explains why this often fails us psychologytoday.com/us/blog... My recommendation would be to eat real food, home cooked, avoiding processed foods - and that includes anything labelled low fat or light or diet as it's all heavily processed.
